The NEC Forum organizes meetings in the member state that holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union.\u00a0It draws together representatives from EU member states and associated countries to the Research Framework Program, the European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies (EGE), the Council of Europe (CoE), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the World Health Organization (WHO). Additionally, participants from neighboring EU countries and other non-EU countries (e.g., China) are invited to enrich the network\u2019s work and build awareness of European ethics standards and legislation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
